Tracy and Tyler,
I cannot believe how a little hair cut can make such a fuss! This is my first day back at work and the
people I work are getting their first view of the new doo and a lot of mouths are hanging open in awe
at the hair. I have been told that I look 15 years younger, that all bachelors (coming from a guy)
better beware of the new hottie, and he was shocked!
Thank you for making the time to see me and giving me the whack I needed for the new year.

Trixie's is the best salon that I have ever experienced. Tracy the owner makes you feel as if you are
her best friend over for a glass of wine. She also does a awesome job waxing my eyebrows!!!!!! Tyler,
the hair lady is funky, current and just FUN!!!!!! She did my hair for the first time about a month ago
and I love it and have had many compliments on my hair. I love this beauty bar and hope they are
around for a very long time.

I made my first appointment at Trixie's based on the recommendation of a neighbor and friend who
had been to Trixie's twice and enjoyed the experience. She told me Trixie's was fun, unpretentious
and I would leave feeling indulged.
I am a bit of a tomboy and getting my hair/nails/eyebrows, etc. done makes me a little nervous.
Usually it is just another chore that I procrastinate.
This is not the case at Trixie's BB. I look forward to visiting the ladies at Trixie's. As soon as you get
in the door, you are offered a beverage of your choice, including wine, beer, tea. I immediately felt
at ease, chatting up a storm with these ladies.
I have had my eyebrows waxed here by Tracy, the owner, several times and she is by far the best
esctitician I have experienced.
I recently had my hair styled by Tyler, the resident stylist, who moved from Seattle and brought the
style standards of a larger metropolis with her to Stumptown. Aside from being incredibly stylish and
fun herself, Tyler is an incredible gifted stylist. I have been receiving non-stop compliments on my
hair and feel like a million bucks.
I also treated myself to one of Trixie's spa pedicures, which at $40 is a little pricier than I am used
to but was a wonderful experience and is holding up really well. All of the products used at the salon
are very good quality and it is well worth the extra cash to not be surrounded by all the chemical nail
salon smells of the cheaper joints.
Trixie's also has a fantastic assortment of goodies for sale and product but I have never felt so
unpressured to purchase product from a salon before.
If you live in North Portland and have been looking for a beauty bar that you can trust and enjoy,
give Trixie's a try!

Trixie's is a wonderful place for services. The hairstylist, Tyler, is the best I've found in a long time.
She is so skilled at both cutting and coloring hair. She really listens to you, and offers helpful
suggestions. Plus, there are no surprises when she's done. If you ask her to cut off 1/2 ", that's what
she'll do. The prices are reasonable, there's plenty of parking, and there are other great stops in the
neighborhood. It's a small salon, so you don't have to contend with lots of noise. Get in now, before
Tyler gets too popular (which will only be a matter of time!).
Pros: Small salon, free & available parking, very talented stylist, reasonable prices
Cons: None.

I love the "pressed for time facial" at Trixies. At 30 bucks it is a guilt free treat. My skin looked great
for weeks afterwards. My husband even noticed a difference! There is no pressure to buy products
and Tracy is delightful.
